Klovan_Data

Data Description

The dataset consists of exploration data for lead and zinc in an area containing high-grade lead-zinc ore. The region has undergone extensive geological investigation, revealing a bedrock composed of an altered carbonate-shale sequence. For the convenience of sorting and quick indentifying, the variables have prefixes attached to them: “C_” used to identify a coordinate (e.g. x coordinate, y coordinate), “P_” used to identify a numeric value such as a property or variable measurement.

80 observations of 13 variables are included:

• rank: rank of the observation
• C_X: X-coordinate of the observation
• C_Y: Y-coordinate of the observation
• P_Elong: elongation of the geological feature
• P_Fe: iron content in the geological feature
• P_Fold: folding factor of the geological feature
• P_Fract: fracturing level of the geological feature
• P_Mg: magnesium content in the geological feature
• P_Na: sodium content in the geological feature
• P_Space: spatial arrangement factor of the geological feature
• P_Sulfide: sulfide content in the geological feature
• P_Veins: veining factor of the geological feature
• P_XLSize: size of the geological feature
