Example bird phylogenies
------------------------

Bundled objects: tree300, trees300, and tree_full.

These objects are pruned derivatives of tree_bird_n100, retrieved through the
megatrees 1.0.0 R package. The package's MIT software licence does not
establish redistribution rights for the underlying BirdTree data. The exact
upstream release asset has SHA-256 digest
71f6f712bf4c57c14570644f447c1e2eb0d76436a88075560afd4e85be1fcb78.
That 100-tree BirdTree collection has 50 Ericson-backbone trees followed by 50
Hackett-backbone trees. tree300 and tree_full use posterior member 69 from the
Hackett-backbone set. trees300 is the deterministic seed-42 sample of 50 trees
from the full collection: 28 Ericson and 22 Hackett, each pruned to the same
300 AVONET species. These are posterior sample trees, not an MCC tree.

tree300 and tree_full are bundled as convenient example trees; no claim is
made that member 69 is the closest, best, or recommended tree for analysis.
The trees300 sampling procedure is recorded in data-raw/make_trees300.R.
